Q&A with Alexi

How did you start delivering Leadership Development?

My experience building up start-ups inspired me to provide other leaders and C-Suite executives with the Leadership Development resources I wish were available to me when I needed them.

What is your personal ethos for successful and harmonious business?

I encourage clients to focus on the human context of their business, not just the product, through leaders applying VUCA (Vision, Understanding, Courage and Adaptability). The definition of success is unique to each client’s ecosystem – I use both emotional and business intelligence to guide leaders and their teams on their roles within each system.

What are the key attributes of a good leader?

Interpersonal skills are just as essential as professional execution. Clear communication of direction is essential and inspiring followers to understand their work’s impact. A conscious leader helps their followers regulate through complex situations together.

What is your advice for working teams to increase their resilience against external stressors?

Foster a culture of team interdependence: if we want to go fast, we can go alone, if we want to go far, we have to go together.

In times of turbulence, I encourage clients to avoid analysis paralysis, understanding that delivering on time is better than aiming for perfection and achieving nothing.
